Valentine's day as friendship day?

2 more days to Valentine's day; couples beware. Or guys. Start saving now!

Some of my friends(not giving out names here) thinks that valentine's day can be friendship day. My thoughts? It's almost impossible. Reasons?

People around the world have this mindset including me that valentine's day is a day for couples only. I've proof to back it up of course.

I think this happened about four to five years ago.

I have a friend who always date this girl for valentine's day, without fail, ever since I've know this guy.

He claims that he doesn't like her, nor take her as a potiental gf. He claims valentine's day can be a friendship day.

Guess what happens? Fast forward 2 years down the road, they're one of the most loving couples I've ever personally witnessed in my life.

I think they have been together like 4 years now, and they're still very much in love.

Of course I do hang out with them once in a while, and I always see them together. I'm convinced one of them won't go out unless both of them are free or something like that. They're so loving that sometimes I feel like puking. lol

And boy oh boy, he really spolits her on valentine's day. But she's really an awesome lady, so i think i would do the same if I were to be him.

Moral of the story? Be careful who you date in valentine's day. I dated once on valentine's day and she almost ended up my gf as well. Spooky... The spirit of relationships is really strong on valentine's day.
